dark chocolate covered potato chips

Dark chocolate covered potato chips! I have a logical explanation for why I made this the other night…it was my ‘themed’ snack that I brought to an Oscar party. My inspiration? The movie Gone Girl, where one of the main characters binges on junk food. Hence, I decided my snack was going to be potato chips dipped in dark chocolate–junk food at its finest! What’s better than a snack that’s simultaneously crunchy, sweet, and salty?! It’s a crowd pleaser that’s super easy to put together. Oh, and if you’re wondering, it’s really really delicious. If you dare, here’s the how to…

  1. Cute and classy! I bet the salty bitter-sweet combo works a treat. There’s an Aussie pastry chef called Adriano Zumbo who is famed for creating wickedly good desserts using flavour combos such as this. One of his most iconic is a salt and vinegar flavoured macaron with chocolate ganache.
