Ingredients

 2 cups flour
1 cup salt
3 tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Mix. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a bowl, combine flour, salt, & cinnamon and mix well. Gradually add water and mix until dough comes together.
  2. Knead. Transfer dough onto a floured surface and knead until soft and pliable. Roll out dough until 1/8 inch thick. Use cookie cutters to stamp out desired shapes and dust off excess flour. Place shapes on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake. Using the end of a chopstick, make a hole in the top of the ornament. Bake for 1 hour, until hard.

Some extras
*Swap ground cinnamon for other holiday spices like ground nutmeg, cloves, or allspice.
